Pressure vessels are a crucial part of many industries, but as pressure increases so does the difficulty for manufacturing them. WINBCO doesn’t shy away from challenges like these though–high pressure vessels for various storage and processing applications are a common project for us and we can tackle even the toughest challenges when it comes to ASME pressure vessel manufacturing. Our team is very familiar with the ASME standards, and we’re familiar with finding ways to customize these vessels to fit specific customer requirements while still adhering to the ASME code. 

Shop-Assembled or Field-Erected ASME Pressure Vessels

One of the major advantages that WINBCO has is our versatility. We can construct pressure vessels and storage tanks of virtually any size–even those going above the shipping limit of 14 ft. in diameter and 150 ft. in length. For tanks that are too big for our fabrication facility, our field team goes on-site to quickly construct the tanks with little disturbance to your operations. If it’s within those specs, our team easily handles it in-shop and gets it delivered to the customer’s site on time and ready for installation.

Nearly Limitless Customization Options

We’ve been manufacturing pressure vessels for over 80 years, and during that time, WINBCO has custom-built hundreds of tanks according to the ASME code. We can take into account a variety of additional specifications, such as height, construction material, and tank support, on request from our customers. We also account for unique internal and external design pressure (as permitted by ASME standards), design temperature, and design-specific gravity. All our customers have to do is let us know what they need and we’ll do the rest. 

WINBCO is also familiar with a variety of different operations required of pressure vessels, and we can provide our expertise to improve operational performance and efficiency. Our team has built a pressure vessel for just about every application–equalization, liquefaction, slurry and steep tanks, molecular sieves, distillers, and much more. We build primarily with stainless steel, but we can work with other metals on request, and we offer food grade finishes for customers in the food & beverage industries.
