WINBCO Codes and Certifications

ISO 9002 CertifiedAll manufacturing and fabricating operations are conducted under the highest quality codes in accordance with ISO-9002. WINBCO was one of the first companies to certify for ISO-9002 in 1994. WINBCO continues to comply with these standards, although does not participate in the annual auditing process.

Prior to customer acceptance or “delivery”, WINBCO contracts an authorized third-party independent inspection agency to verify testing and compliance to API 620 and API 650.

  • Primary construction code for refinery and storage terminal ASTs
  • Coves material, design fabrication, erection, and testing requirements
  • For tanks whose entire bottom is uniformly supported www.api.org

The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors offers the REPAIR CERTIFICATE of AUTHORIZATION and "R" stamp for the repair and/or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels, and other pressure-retaining items. Detailed requirements are included in the current edition of the National Board Inspection Code (NB-23).
