Kermit Knott, President and Chairman of the Board
Kermit joined the company in 1983 upon graduation with a Associate of Arts in Applied Sciences from Indian Hills Community College. Kermit began his career at WINBCO focused on engineering design, purchasing and project cost estimates. Over time, Kermit headed up Quality Assurance, then moved into Sales and then became Operations Manager. In that role, Kermit was responsible for all aspects of shop and field construction, including logistics, coordination and direction. Kermit is responsible for contract negotiations with the National Transient Division of Boilermakers for both the shop and field contracts. Kermit is involved with WINBCO customers from inquiries to field visits to reinforce the Company’s commitment to its customers. Aside from WINBCO responsibilities, Kermit is involved with the National Association of Construction Boilermaker Employers (NACBE), Board of Ottumwa Country Club, and serves as Regional President for the Southeast I-Club Board for the University of Iowa and has raised in excess of $300,000 for the University.
Kermit joined the Board in September 2008.
Stanley Goodman, Outside Director
Born Cincinnati, Ohio June 16, 1931; admitted to bar, 1955, Ohio and U.S. Tax Court, Southern District of Ohio; 1968, U.S. Supreme Court; 1976, Kentucky and U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit. Education: University of Cincinnati (A.B., 1953; J.D., 1955). Phi Alpha Delta. Member: Cincinnati (Secretary, Labor Law Committee 1957-1961), Ohio State (Member, 1965-1990 and Chairman, 1970-1972, Eminent Domain Committee), Kentucky, and American Bar Associations; National Health Lawyers Association.

Stanley has served on the Board since 1971.
John A Travlos, Chairman Emeritus, Chairman of Board, Mobile Crane Services
John joined the company in 1960 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and Aerospace Engineering from the College of Engineering, New York University and employment with Pess Aircraft, North American Aviation and Sperry Gyrospace Company. John served as CEO of WINBCO Tank Company (and predecessors) from 1973 to September 2008, when he assumed the position of Chairman. John was instrumental in transitioning the company to bringing stainless steel innovations to the agriculture processing industry, where the company has focused its operations since the late 1960s. In the 1970s and 1980s, John executed several acquisitions and divestitures for sister company, Cincinnati Boss, and in 2000, John recapitalized WINBCO into an ESOP structure. Aside from WINBCO responsibilities, John has served on the Small Business Committee for the Federal Reserve, on the Board of Directors for Wells Fargo Iowa, on the I-Club Board for the University of Iowa, as Head of the Ottumwa School Board, and as Commissioner of the Ottumwa Municipal Airport.
John resigned from WINBCO Board, assumed Chairmanship of Mobile Crane Services in November 2009.
