Modified/Unmodified Starch Process

Modified and unmodified starches are two additional products and are used as thickeners or sweeteners. Unmodified starches generally have industrial applications. Modified starches are generally used as thickening agents or stabilizers in canned or prepared foods, and pharmaceuticals to protect against heat, acids and cold.
