Corn Dextrose Process
Corn Dextrose is corn starch broken down by acids and enzymes, and is extremely versatile. It is used in many baking products like cake mixes and frostings, snack foods such as cookies, crackers and pretzels, and in frozen deserts. Corn dextrose is highly fermentable and, therefore, is also used in wines and beers. It also boasts many pharmaceutical applications and vitamins, and amino acids. Dextrose also has industrial applications including wall board.
